Service Description

NID Design Aptitude Test (DAT) is a two-tier exam - 1) The candidate first appears in DAT Prelims, and 2) The scores of DAT Prelims are used to shortlist candidates for the DAT Mains. Both steps are mandatory. The DAT Prelims question paper will have two parts - Aptititutde (30% weightage) and Design (70%). The Aptitude part will contain questions on Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, GK and Current Affairs, and English. The language of the test will be English; however, the duration of the test isn't fixed and will be mentioned later on the admit card. The result of the DAT Prelims for the B.Des program will be announced on March 30, while DAT Prelims results for DAT Mains will be out on February 28, 2023. Candidates who get shortlisted have to next appear in DAT Mains, which comprises a Studio Test ( M.Des candidates also need to appear in a Personal Interview).
